Win It!  Email baltimoremama@gmail.com with the “Clip N’ Feed” in the subject line by midnight Monday night and you can win one Clip N’ Feed Nursing Cover in the eco-friendly Lemon print!  Go to http://prizeywinners.blogspot.com/ to see if you have won!

Black and white and cute all over http://www.baltimoremama.net/2008/08/black-and-white-and-cute-all-over/ http://www.baltimoremama.net/2008/08/black-and-white-and-cute-all-over/#comments Wed, 27 Aug 2008 02:18:35 +0000 vicki http://www.baltimoremama.net/?p=63 Husband and wife team Surya and Dave, a graphic artist and teacher, have come up with a terrific (and fun) way to stimulate your newborn’s brain development. Using high-quality cardstock and black-and-white original illustrations, Wee Gallery art cards are giving “flash cards” a good name again.

Garden cards

The cards come six to a pack and are dual-sided. Friendly images of animals in black and white are featured on both sides (the Garden collection is shown above), with the colors and patterns reversed on the opposite side. In addition to having a nice weight to them, the cards are also easy to wipe off in case you’ve got a grabby baby with sticky fingers. And while the age recommendation is 0-12 months, my 19-month-old daughter enjoyed looking at the pictures and naming the animals (in addition to field testing the cleanability of the cards).

The size of the cards (about 5×7 inches) makes them small enough to fit in your bag but big enough for little hands to hold. They also make beautiful wall decorations for your baby’s nursery (talk about hands-free parenting!)

Speaking of which, Wee Gallery  has graciously offered some of their Dino Collection art cards up as a dino cardsgiveaway! Interested? Drop a line telling us where you go to get away from staring at the nursery walls and meet other moms.  E-mail your suggestion to baltimoremama [at] gmail.com. We’ll compile your answers and let you know if you’re a lucky winner!

Blush Topless Undershirts by: Guest Blogger Candice http://www.baltimoremama.net/2007/10/blush-topless-undershirts-by-guest-blogger-candice/ http://www.baltimoremama.net/2007/10/blush-topless-undershirts-by-guest-blogger-candice/#comments Tue, 16 Oct 2007 12:52:00 +0000 Gretchen http://baltimoremama.net/?p=8

I know it sounds kind of kinky and you wonder who would wear these things, but let me tell you, everyone should. If you are anything like me and you pull your shirts, sweaters, tanks etc down every day then this is the item for you.

Blush Topless Undershirts are these long tube top looking things that actually are trapezoid shaped. You pull it on over you pants and under any shirt. What does it do? It gives you the layered look without having to wear another shirt underneath. It ends right under your bra and covers your back side pretty well.

I got these about 3 weeks ago and the amount of things I’ve worn it under is absolutely amazing. One of my favorites is the brown floral. I wear it under a ¾ length brown v-neck sweater and it is perfect for work. I never pull my sweater down in the back and the floral makes me look super pretty and put together.

Here’s the super bonus to these items: it flattens my mommy tummy. I mean who can complain about that?

They are also perfect for maternity. They work with everything when your pregnant and you don’t want your belly to show. I have to say that it’s an item I could’ve used when I was pregnant with my boys.

Don’t know what size to get? Stick with your normal sizing. They fit true-to-size and they have spandex for extra stretch. Oh and my last piece of advice, buy more then one you’ll find yourself wanting to wear them with everything.
