a book about me
One day, a mystery book had appeared on my bookshelf when I got home from school. The title was “My Name is Belina” (and just to tell you, my name really is Belina). My mom was in the next room, so I asked her, “Mama, what’s this?” All she said was, “Open it up and you’ll see.” So, I opened it.
First, let me talk about the colors. They were very bright and happy. Blues, greens reds, pinks, yellows, purples, all colors pulling me into the energetic landscapes spelling out my name. You see, the book was full of my name spelled out in photographs of clouds, flowers pigeons and all kinds of other elements of nature. But my favorite was the stars. I love stars. Stars are so beautiful.
I would recommend this book for young children learning to read because they love to hear their names. What better way to learn letters than through your own name!
