The Dad Shop: New Online Shop
The Dad Shop is a new online store that is run by SAHD (that’s stay-at-home-dad) Jerome Willis. Nestled in his near-suburban Violetville home, with 3 year old son Xavier, Jerome stays at home and connects with other dads by meeting at the playground and through the website http://www.baltimoredads.org/. The Dad Shop is a store that sells baby gear that dads and moms alike will love: hard to find European strollers (Englacha, Everbright); diaper bags (Baby Sherpa); and plenty of baby carriers (Maya Wrap, CuddleWrap, Cuddly Carriers).

I love to see fathers promoting babywearing and was happy to see the selection of carriers. Jerome says: “I definitely encourage babywearing for dads and moms. I tried a few different carriers when Xavier was an infant before finding one that fit well and was my style. I loved babywearing because there were just so many times when bringing along the stroller would have been too cumbersome. I notice that most times when people encourage babywearing, they speak about the benefits to the baby. That’s great, but the convenience for the parent was what sold it for me.” Works for us!
